SDSH SALON

OVERVIEW

Sharon Dorram Color at Sally Hershberger offers the crème de la crème in color and cuts. Housed in a classic, limestone townhouse on Manhattan’s most exclusive Upper East Side block, a cozy, residential mood can be felt throughout the two floors of Sharon Dorram Color at Sally Hershberger. The salon’s showcase room features an ornate, crystal chandelier, Bagues sconces and traditional moldings to further reinforce the ambiance of a refined living area.

CHALLENGE

Sharon Dorram and Sally Hershberger are both celebrities and wanted to revamp their image to better display their uniqueness and style. They initially hired EGO to do all of their communication marketing and quickly realized that we had to start from the ground up. With nearly a hundred salons within a three-mile radius, we quickly realized that our marketing efforts needed to show each client that they will receive the most intimate and pampered experience.

SOLUTION

We decided to showcase the exceptional experience along with the value and relationships that come with it. Not only is Sharon Dorram Color at Sally Hershberger a unique New York salon, but the clients are treated with the highest regard. We welcome clients to meet the staff and learn about their backgrounds and services. We were very open about sharing pricing so clients felt comfortable in their experience. Finally, we added online appointment scheduling and clear communication about COVID-19 updates.

WHAT THEY THINK

"I had the biggest compliment from a good client today. She said she could tell the “tone” of the salon had changed by all the emails we had sent her. I asked what she felt was different and she said it felt ‘Sweeter, kinder and welcoming’...I knew your hand in this was EVERYTHING! Thank you!"
